Run 'n Gun Filming
Fast, raw and unscripted — the bush as it happens.
Light, fast and unscripted. We move with the wildlife — handheld, reactive and ready for the moment it happens. No sets, no second takes, just the bush as it unfolds.
In detail
The work, end to end.
Run 'n Gun is the beating heart of RnG Bush Films. A single operator, a weather-sealed rig, and an instinct honed over years in the bush. We chase behaviour, light and weather — often before sunrise, sometimes for days at a stretch — and we react the instant the moment breaks. There are no sets, no second takes and no staged setups. What there is, is patience, endurance and a feel for where the action is about to happen so the record button gets pressed a beat before it does.
- Handheld & gimbal capture on the move
- Single-operator run-and-gun setups
- Long-lens & wide-angle coverage

How it works
The Run 'n Gun Filming process.
- 01
Brief & scout
A short call on the brief, then we read the land — light, movement, behaviour — before the shoot day.
- 02
Field day
On the ground before dawn, single-operator, reacting to the bush in real time. We shoot the moment, not the setup.
- 03
Offload & log
Footage offloaded, backed up twice, logged and tagged with shot notes before the day ends.
- 04
Deliver
Raw selects delivered same or next day; a rough cut can be ready within 24 hours on request.
